I had an upper blepharoplasty with Dr. Douglas P. Marx in September, and I truly could not be happier with my experience and results. Dr. Marx is a board-certified ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, and his expertise was evident from my very first consultation.
When I reached my 70's I developed moderate ptosis in both eyelids. The condition affected my peripheral vision and reduced my eyes ability to get enough light to see clearly, especially at night. My dermatologist advised that I have this condition addressed by an oculoplastic surgeon. My OD referred my to Dr.
Dr. Marx was very thorough in his examination and explanations of the diagnoses, what would be done during surgery, and the recovery. For someone that has had a lot of eye muscle surgeries, this was one of my easiest surgeries.
I came here for ear repair surgery (from gauges). Scheduling was easy and compared to others, highly affordable. The procedure took maybe an hour. The surgeon and his staff were professional, relaxed, and welcoming. I had a good experience and the surgeon and attendant were thorough.
