From the reviews
I needed my eyelids lifted. I started my search for a plastic surgeon where I live, California. I only consulted with surgeons who had worked on friends and families.
What an excellent surgeon! The chief of Ophthalmology at Duke referred me to Dr. McCann. I had a special case with a nodule formation in my tear trough due to a long term filler (Bellfaill). I wanted it surgically removed. Dr. McCann carefully examined me and told me it was better not to operate.
I would highly recommend The Center for Facial Appearances to everyone. From my first appointment to my "graduation" my experience was nothing but positive. Dr. McCaan is a true artist and I am so pleased with my results. Both Dr. McCaan and Dr.
Dr. John McCann and staff are professional and skilled at what they do. I had some extensive eye surgery of the upper and lower lids and brow area of my forehead. I'm thrilled with the results. Dr. McCann and staff checked on my recovery constantly and provided tips on comfort and quick healing.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
