From the reviews
I broke my thumb skiing 2 winters ago. The surgery process was very relaxing and informative. Very friendly staff. Dr Buebendorf had a great sense of humor to lighten the mood before surgery. My thumb healed nicely and I can say I have 100% mobility and strength within a few months after surgery.
Dr. Buebendorf and the staff at the Mayfair office were great. I went in to find out why my right hand fingers were hurting and a little swollen. I now have a wrist brace, and know my bones in my hand look normal and am getting some blood work, and referral to a Reumatory specialist from my PCP then seeing Dr.
I had a ganglion cyst and developed trigger thumb. I let it go on for a few years because I thought it would get better (at the time I didn’t know what was wrong) I came in and Dr. B felt my thumb, immediately knew what was wrong, and I was able to get into surgery within a week.
Hands down the best doctor I have ever seen. He is down to earth, caring, and gives top notch care. Have had a few hand procedures with him and he's always transparent with information and truly cares about your health. Would recommend him to anyone!
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
