From the reviews
I needed a functional rhinoplasty and septoplasty to fix the nearly complete collapse of my nostrils. I was really nervous about changing the aesthetic of my ethnic nose, and Dr. Shvidler did a beautiful job giving me a nose that still looked like me but with function.
Dr. Shvidler expertly repaired my nasal defect post-Mohs surgery. He's an excellent communicator with a caring attitude. Everything worked out exactly as he predicted. The icing on the cake was his great staff.
I had MOHS surgery on my scalp significant enough to require Dr Shvidler's services the next day to close the wound. Pre-MOHS he was straight with me about the challenges and probable results, particularly because we didn't know at that time how big the MOHS wound would be.
My doctor emphasized my nasal valve repair has a lot of techniques, but most of them end in failure. He emphasized there is only one person at all he would send me to. Dr.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
