What patients say again and again
“They took the time to explain everything in detail, answered all my questions, and offered ongoing support throughout my journey.”
“Barajas and the entire team at the Hewitt Breast Center were so very caring, informative and supportive during my treatment.”
From the reviews
Dr. Barajas worked me into her schedule within 2 days of my biopsy report when I was unknown to her as a patient. I was also worried she would try to convince me to do treatment I did not want (mastectomy) as I'd had a bad experience with another hospital 3 yrs ago.
This office has been the best experience I have had with Griffin. A couple of years ago I had a breast cancer scare. My biopsy was negative. Doctor Barajas and her staff have been thorough and compassionate. Recently I had an abscess. Again Melissa and Jamie went above and beyond to get me in immediately.
Dr. Barajas is a fantastic Breast Surgeon! She's compassionate and really answers all your questions in full detail. She welcomes any questions you may have in regards to your treatment. I can't say enough about her...She's one of the best!
Dr. Barajas was recommended to me by my ob/gyn when I discovered a lump in my breast. If not for this recommendation I likely would not have sought out a surgeon at Griffin Hospital.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
