About this practice
From the reviews
Had a good experience here for a rhinoplasty consultation to remove a silicone nasal implant. Everyone was very nice. Just wish the nasal implant can be removed with an internal method ( that way my nose won’t be fully cut open again to save it from more scar).
My daughter had nose surgery done by Dr. Karamanos. Dr. Karamanos and his staff were all absolutely amazing and very thorough with every step of the procedure! Before and after care! Dr. Karamanos made himself available for any questions or concerns that we may have had and made sure my daughter was well taken of.
Dr.K is amazing I had a total tummy tuck, lipo, a breast lift with reduction and grafting. I cant say enough about the care and compassion of this team at the new Deaconess of IL hospital. If you’re looking for the Dr and team that will treat you as an individual with compassion and care this is the one!
Everyone is very kind, so far I'm 2 weeks post opp and I am finally able to smell and breathe correctly.. excited to see how my new nose will look too. Overall a nice environment
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
