I first saw Dr Zavitsanos about 12 years ago for breast reduction surgery. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a partial left mastectomy. A week later, I had my bilateral breast reduction. Three months later I had radiation therapy on the left breast which caused the breast to shrink in size.
Four years ago I was diagnosed with Lobular carcinoma of the right breast. After several biopsies and tests, I decided to have a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction. As a registered nurse with a surgical background, I only trusted Dr George Zavitsanos for this surgery.
After a failed breast reconstruction in 2013, I was hesitant and unsure about trying again — until I met Dr. George P. Zavitsanos. From our very first consultation, he took the time to truly listen to my concerns, understand my past experience, and guide me through my options with compassion and honesty.
Words cannot express my gratitude for Dr.Zavitsanos and his staff! I had Mohs surgery which left me with really no nostril, Dr.Z performed plastic surgery to make me whole again, I know I wasn’t the easiest of patients to deal with , but with his patience and detailed explanations he made me feel at ease.
