What patients say again and again
“He explained everything in detail and took his time to make sure I was comfortable with everything going on.”
From the reviews
Dr. Tor Ljung know his job very well, 30+ years of experience made me felt at ease. I followed/following his & his assistant instructions to the T, 6 days out from surgery and the healing process is going as planned. Very grateful, blessed and pleased with my outcome so far.
Dr. Ljung is very attentive to me. I love asking him questions cause he doesn't make me feel like I am asking a ridiculous question. His staff is also very helpful with any of my requests. Mandy Pringle is always knowledgeable and pleasant. I recommend all my friends to go see them.
The receptionist at the front desk was pleasant and kind. Mandy, the nurse with Dr. Ljung, was delightful. Dr. Ljung was knowledgeable and patient during the consultation. He explained the risks of the cosmetic procedure in great detail. My husband and I are so very happy we decided to go with Dr. Ljung.
The doctors front office was extraordinary, especially for Wilmington health. Dr. Tor Ljung and his staff were professional, pleasant, and I am pleased with their work.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
