From the reviews
After visiting four other plastic surgeons I decided to choose Dr. G. based on his reviews and my visit with his office staff and him. I was very very nervous and almost cancelled because of my fear, but his staff calmed my nerves, took time to listen to my fears and explain the whole procedure. Dr.
I have been a patient of Dr. Giampapa for over ten years now. I have had multiple surgical procedures as well as seeing him regularly for fillers. I have found him to be an amazing doctor who is not only excellent at his craft but listens well and always believes less is more.
I’ve always wanted to thank him for the work he did while I was living on the East Coast as an international model. He help me with a jawline problem to perfection. Fun and courteous staff and very willing to work with me and always concerned and in touch with my desires. Nothing but praise for Dr. G!
About 30 years ago now it's hard to believe I had a full face lift done by Dr Giampapa. The results were beyond wonderful. I was 46yoa at the time I'm now 72yoa the best looking 72 yoa on the block. The results lasted well into my 60's. I received a modeling job (to model designer eyewear) at age 50. Hard to believe?
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
