From the reviews
I have never written a review on a doctor. But, I kept thinking, even if this happened 3 years ago, I have to say Dr. Baker truly is a GREAT Plastic Surgeon. I had a carcinoma on my right leg. Dr. Baker removed all of the cancer, the incision healed beautifully. You can't even see the scar today. His staff was great.
So grateful to have been treated by Dr Todd Baker. He took very good care of me during my procedure. He explained to me how and when and after surgery he visit me to make sure I was doing well. The Nurses at Lutheran General Hospital were so friendly, very helpful. I appreciate them all.
From my very first visit Dr. Baker wanted to know my concerns about my body and he provided me with all of my options regarding my breast reconstruction revision surgery. He was very kind and compassionate and I left the office each time feeling hopeful.
Dr. Baker removed a 5cm LIPOMA from my shoulder. I was afraid to have it removed because of the location on my shoulder and suffered with it for 5 years. It looks so much nicer and feels so much better! The scar is very small and barely shows. I highly recommend Dr. Baker!
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
