What patients say again and again
“From the first pre-op appointment to the last post op follow up, he was kind and caring with enough "ego" to make me confident in my decision to choose him as my surgeon.”
“Yen is simply the man that changed my life.”
From the reviews
Dr Yen is an amazing surgeon and doctor. He never once made me doubt him. He changed my life. The honest feedback makes you so comfortable. He is so safe with you and your options. I
Dr. Yen is simply the man that changed my life. I had breast reduction surgery on Mach 8, 2024 and it changed my life for the better. From the first pre-op appointment to the last post op follow up, he was kind and caring with enough "ego" to make me confident in my decision to choose him as my surgeon.
I am beyond satisfied with my decision to stay with Dignity/Dominican for cancer treatment, and the primary reason for this is the care and patience I’ve received from Dr Thomas Yen.
I have seen Dr. Yen twice--once for a dog bite to the face and once for a broken metacarpal. The dog bite healed very well and is now barely visible. The broken metacarpal was a tougher fix, but Dr. Yen did a great job. He perfectly placed two pins in the broken bone and let it heal for 4 weeks.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
