From the reviews
I was referred to Dr Woodyard for a hernia that had previously been repaired and recurred several times. He performed robotic surgery and completely corrected the problem. The recovery was the least troublesome of any previous surgery in terms of pain level and recovery time. I recommend Dr. Woodyard to anyone!
I got an opportunity to meet Dr. Woodyard when my appendix was acting up and it was time for it to come out. He was patient, kind, caring and friendly and was concerned with my overall health. I appreciated him so so much.
I think it's awesome to have a doctor that genuinely cares about his patients! Dr. Woodyard and his staff are wonderful! Wonderful surgeon!! A+
I went to my local ER in Jasper GA with severe pain from complications of a hernia that was incarcerated and pinching my bowel. Dr Woodyard was the oncall surgeon all the way up from Macon. I have had several surgerys before and I think he was the most pleasant I have ever dealt with.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
