From the reviews
Dr. Felder absolutely deserves five stars. He truly listened to me, understood everything I was dealing with and delivered an amazing revision surgery. My pain has reduced so much and my residual limb looks beautifully done. I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care.
If I could leave more than five stars for Dr. John M. Felder, MD, FACS, I would without hesitation. He quickly became one of the most trusted and treasured members of my breast cancer care team, and I’m endlessly thankful for the level of care he provided. Dr.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Felder. He performed my skin graft after an Achilles tendon injury and also repaired my sural and peroneal nerves with exceptional skill.
I had been treating a wound on my waist, in the groin area, for almost two years. I was referred to Dr. Felder by the UM Wound Clinic and how lucky was I!!! He looked and said, "I can fix that". He was very, very thorough in making sure that blood supply was present to make sure the area involved would heal properly.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
