About this practice
“It’s a very big decision, mentally, physically, and financially, so I said I had to think on it and they were fine with that.”
“They had a free consultation booking so I thought what can it hurt.”
What patients say again and again
“And Sophia took her time to explain to me everything I wanted to know and everything I needed to know about the procedure and I can’t wait to have it done.”
From the reviews
I've never had any type of cosmetic surgery and only one minor outpatient surgery in my life. I spent a year thinking about the procedure several months before the Quad Cities location opened. When I didn't jump right into the surgery a year ago at the Springfield location, there was no pressure.
I really didn’t know what to expect going in there. I was thrilled to find out about all the treatments and procedures they do there. The AbEX is a perfect treatment plan for me. Everything was explained in great detail Jamie the receptionist was so nice on the phone and in person.
While the services offered were exactly what met my needs, I felt the staff here were really great, and the facilities are very nice. If their service options were able to accommodate my needs, I would definitely have considered using them. Their prices for services were almost identical to Genesis plastic surgery.
Very encouraging staff. I felt comfortable and not embarrassed by anything with my body. All follow up was very helpful and positive.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
