About this practice
From the reviews
If I could give Dr. Sommer and her team of residents and nursing staff more than 5 stars I would! Dr. Sommer consistently provides beautiful results and top-quality care. I have been so impressed by her kindness, skill and warm friendly style that I knew I needed to write a review, and let others know that Dr.
Dr. Berry did a wonderful job on my top surgery. She respected my wishes to not have nipples without any push-back. I'm very pleased with the results. Bonus that I was able to get in several months sooner than any of the large gender surgery clinics in Chicago.
I have had multiple surgeries at this clinic with Dr. Berry. I find her work and staff to be pleasant and professional. Had an issue with my body rejecting an implant, due to immunity issues but she was right on it. I find her character and professionalism admirable. She doesn't "Gaslight" her patients.
Dr. Nada Berry worked on my burn scars. I had severe atrophy of the scar tissue on my neck, which caused my head to be pulled down towards my chest at all times. After surgery, I was able to look up for the first time in almost 20 years and I look much more normal!
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
