I got a double mastectomy for gender affirmation four months ago. Dr. Lohman worked with me on the reconstruction of my chest. I love Dr. Lohman! He and everyone that he works with are incredibly approachable and kind. I feel like I'm talking to people I've known for years. Dr.
I had breast reconstruction surgery with Dr. Lohman. I was supposed to have this at Dana Farber, where I had my mastectomy, but there were COVID delays, so I searched elsewhere and found him online. I have to say that he is an artist. I had DIEP flap reconstruction with him and then a reduction/lift on the other side.
Had a follow up appointment with Dr. Lohman recently for the purpose of discussing a planned surgical procedure. He was very personable and provided a thorough explanation of what was to be accomplished and the potential complications, therein.
Dr. Lohman performed my reconstruction and mastopexy while going through breast cancer treatment. He met to consult with me before decisions were made and provided a lot of information to help make my decision. The surgery went well and I healed very well too. His NP, Jan, was just amazing.
