From the reviews
The process of getting cosmetic surgery is so much more than just going under the proverbial knife. From the moment you meet with the staff at Dr. Aycock's office, you know you will be in good hands. His nurses are kind and thoughtful.
Dr Aycock is an extremely skilled surgeon and his aftercare is just as careful and extensive. He made sure to check my healing progress every week for a month until he was satisfied with my healing progress. At that point I was switched to every other week until I was fully healed.
I've known about Dr. Adcock for a couple of decades. He came highly recommended by a surgical nurse friend of mine. He has worked on my daughter and a close friend. Beautiful results and kind and friendly staff.
Dr. Aycock is a true artist. The work he performed on my face/neck was so far beyond what I had even expected. He even fixed the jagged scar on my chin I'd had since my banana bike accident when I was 12 years old. He came highly recommended by my best friend who had found him through another friend.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
