From the reviews
I have just completed the second stage of my breast reconstruction with Dr. Knacksteadt after being treated for breast cancer and double mastectomy. She is a very talented surgeon and caring provider, and I cannot say enough nice things about her and her PA Nina Wong.
Highly recommend Dr. Knackstedt for gender affirming top surgery. I am more than pleased with my results. Since my first meeting with Dr. Knackstedt I felt at ease. She’s a very caring person and has a way of making you feel special and genuinely cared for. In addition to being incredibly knowledgeable.
Dr. Rebecca Knackstedt is amazing at what she does. She was very informative with letting me know my options for reconstruction after double masectomy. I was able to do direct to implant and I could not be more pleased.
Dr. Knackstedt performed my top surgery last summer. My recovery was, while not exactly fun, certainly was easier than I had anticipated. My pain was so moderate, I only took alternating cycles of ibuprofen and acetaminophen for about 10 days.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
