I interviewed two highly regarded breast surgeons before selecting Dr. Wu to perform reconstructive surgery following my mastectomy. Dr. Wu was referred to me by Dr. McDonald (mastectomy surgeon who is also awesome) for breast reconstruction. When I first met with Dr. Wu I told her I was not interested in multiple surgeries (ie. tissue expanders) and very much preferred “one and done” (bilateral mastectomy with simultaneous implant reconstruction).
Dr. Liza Wu is one of a kind!! She is a wonderful and compassionate person as well as an artist! I had breast cancer with a double mastectomy this past fall and started reconstruction with her at the time of surgery. She has been a friend, a confidant, and has always been there when I needed her no matter what.
I have a long story that began in 2011 in NJ. I had a prophylactic mastectomy, but 3 years later I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma. I was referred to Dr. Wu in 2024, after multiple surgeries in NJ and then here in Fl. I can’t say enough complimentary things about Dr. Wu.
