About this practice
What patients say again and again
“From the front desk to my own personal favorite Dr Freeman.”
From the reviews
Deborah Powell is amazing! She is meticulous, efficient, and caring! She exceeds expectations! She listens to your concerns, gives suggestions, and administers treatments if needed. Everyone at this practice is very friendly and kind!
I was referred to Piedmont Plastic Surgery and Dermatology for MOHS surgery. Being my first experience with PPS&C and MOHS, I didn’t know what to expect. The process is simple. A consultation, brief exam of the affected area and setup an appointment. Easy enough. Appointment day was a complete surprise.
I had avoided the dermatologist for years, but a persistent flaky patch led me in. I was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer)and wished I had gotten it checked out sooner. Everyone I saw was kind, patient, and thorough.
Dr Seminara and her staff were very professional. Dr Seminara spent adequate time with me and gave her honest opinion of what would work best for me and the condition of my skin. I appreciated her honesty and feel comfortable following through with her suggestions. The staff was warm and friendly.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
