From the reviews
Best emergency hospital ever experienced. All the people we spoke to were super polite, very considerate and knowledgeable. Everyone from nurse to RA, Physician, surgeon, etc etc were so polite while speaking and listened to all of our questions and doubts and explained what we were going through, what would come next…
5-Star Review: Exceptional Emergency and Inpatient Care I recently had an unexpected trip to the Emergency Room at Penn State Medical Hampden Medical followed by a short hospital stay—and I can honestly say the care I received exceeded all expectations.
Exceptional!!!!!! Let me start by saying I only provide reviews for over the top, exceptional experiences... I wish there was a way to make this review more important than any other I have ever contributed that since I cannot give more than five stars, I will simply type from the heart!!!!
Based on my horrific past experience with Penn State Health , I must say, I was terrified to be having surgery in this facility. However the medical professionals I came across along with my surgeon, made my experience a very good one , every step of the way. From registration to discharge.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
