After doing 3 years of research for a breast reduction I some how came across nyu plastic surgery and had selected 2 surgeons one of who was dr.cohen ! Both doctors had different availability and I was scheduled for 01/25 ! It turns out they had an opening fAnd I went in October for a consultation!
A wonderful surgeon and team! I went in for a gender affirming breast reduction surgery and the team was amazing. They always used my correct pronouns and listened to any adjustments I needed in terms of language (saying chest instead of breasts).
I had top surgery (bilateral mastectomy with nipple reconstruction) performed by Dr Cohen and her care and patience with me was beyond what I could’ve imagined. From consultation to post, I have been extremely satisfied and content with the care.
Dr. Cohen and her PA Savannah are absolutely incredible! I have been struggling with breast cancer for 12 years and dealing with the physical effects. This past year I was able to go off of chemotherapy and after meeting with several surgeons, chose Dr. Cohen to do my reconstruction.
