What patients say again and again
“I was nervous before the surgery but the team there made me feel confident about my decision.”
From the reviews
To begin I want to take the time to thank my Doctor. Dr. Shafqat on the plastics team completely changed not only my quality of life, but they way I feel about my self! For years I have struggled with debilitating neck and back pain from my oversized breasts. I was extremely nervous to have breast reduction surgery.
My experience with NYBG Plastic Surgery has been excellent. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. Dr. Shafqat is fantastic. I had a lower body lift in April. I was nervous before the surgery but the team there made me feel confident about my decision. Needless to say Dr. Shafqat did an amazing job.
Dr Shafqat was great! I was very pleased and I didn’t feel rushed. He addressed all of my concerns. I feel that he won’t rush into surgery and that is a big deal for me! I’m so happy my daughter recommended me to such an amazing practice. The office staff was extremely helpful.
Amazing experience!! I had my procedure and I feel amazing!! Wasn’t expecting such tentative care from the staff, to Dr. Chin. If anyone is looking into Bariatric surgery I would recommend Dr.Chin 10/10.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
