“He explained everything to me up front in terms I could understand not the medical lingo you don't understand.”
“The entire staff is amazing and made the experience a great and exciting one !”
“As a surgeon myself, I found his examinations, explanations, planned procedures, post-operative care, and follow up to be both professional and to the point.”
From the reviews
In 2007, I was diagnosed with breast cancer while living in MA. I chose to have a double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction using implants, all under one doctor's care.
I could not be more grateful for my experience with Dr. Chatson. I am one of the unfortunates to have experienced Breast Implant Illness, after having saline implants 18 years ago. (Dr. Chatson was not my original plastic surgeon). At that time, BII was unheard of, so not a concern.
There are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Dr. Chatson & the amazing staff in both office's. I had unfortunately gone to a Surgeon much less qualified prior and multiple surgeries that failed.
I am a 24 year Breast Cancer survivor, with that being said: I had a double mastectomy and implants that lasted 20 years. Very happy for those 20 years. I had to get the implants done due to one failing. This time I was not happy at all with the implants.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
