From the reviews
My husband John Gray is a patient of Dr Paik. He has found him to be very caring and kind at heart. Dr Paik has performed 3 squamous cell carcinoma removal procedures on him and all 3 have had great results. One was on his scalp and Dr Paik had to go very deep to remove it all.
I cannot express enough how incredibly happy I am following my experience the Midwest Facial Plastic Surgery team. From the very first consultation, Dr. Paik made me feel completely at ease, explaining every step of the procedure and what to expect.
Dr. Paik and his team, Candice, Abby, Shay, Angela and Karlee are absolutely terrific! I have never had a doctor make me feel more comfortable and keep an eye on my progress like Dr. Paik and his team has.
My 4 year old daughter had a recent fall down some steps and sustained an eyebrow laceration that was going to require stitches. I called Dr. Paik and without hesitation, he offered to either meet us at his office to take care of her or the ER. He came in such a short time and met us at the ER. He did so well with her.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
