From the reviews
I first heard of Dr McConnell from my breast surgeon Dr McCoy (who has now retired) when I found out I had breast cancer 1/10/24. Went in for my reconstructive surgery consultation and was blown away the time he took to explain everything, to listen to my concerns, and to listen to all my stupid questions I had.
Dr McConnell, is an awesome surgeon....personally, I’ve had my implants put in 20 years ago. That Dr was a triple board certified surgeon..well, though I loved my biggums, he cut the sides too deep, leaving me with, no tatas while lying on my back......whatever, I enjoyed them for quite a while....
Love Dr. McConnell. Not only is he friendly, patient, professional and compassionate. He is very good at what he does! He did my reconstruction after my double mastectomy due to breast cancer. He’s very artistic and in fact took art classes prior to plastic surgery school! I am confident in recommending him.
I was very pleased with my experience with Dr.McConnell. Going through breast cancer isn’t easy, but Dr.McConnell’s bedside manner gave me ease and comfort. He listened to my wants and all my concerns and did a great job! I was very confident in having him as my surgeon.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
