What patients say again and again
“From the start, he took the time to truly listen to my concerns and understand the results I was hoping to achieve.”
From the reviews
I can't even express the amazing care I got from Dr. Lanni. After my last breast reconstruction that didn't go as planned. Dr. Lanni did an amazing job and the outcome was amazing. I would recommend Dr. Lanni to anyone and everyone.
I can't even put into words my gratitude for Dr Lanni. I can't even begin to tell you how compassionate and caring this doctor is. He is one of a kind. He listens and he is real in his responses. He knows how to care for a patient. He did my lymphatic bypass in February when I had a double mastectomy.
I have been dealing with lymphedema in both my legs which has caused me a lot of pain and frustration. I was losing hope that any doctor could help me. Then Dr. Warsaw set me up with an appointment to see Dr. Lanni. He spent 60 minutes making a plan to help me which has me encouraged.
I am extremely grateful to Dr. Lanni and the entire LGH Plastic Surgery team. I went to Dr. Lanni for adjustments to a bi-laterial breast cancer reconstruction I had several years ago. From the start, he took the time to truly listen to my concerns and understand the results I was hoping to achieve.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
