From the reviews
So, help me if there were 100 stars I would post 100. Dr. Spears is the absolute BEST! Her personality shines and she makes you feel so comfortable from the moment you meet.
I knew immediately after my initial consultation with Dr. Spears that she was the surgeon for me. In addition to her impressive accolades and resume, she and her amazing staff were very patient with me and took the time to answer all of my questions and always went above and beyond every step of the way.
We went to Dr Spears because my wife wanted a female doctor. Her procedure was implant removal and a lift. Both of us were going into this procedure without any knowledge of what we should be looking for or the questions we should be asking.
I went for a breast reduction consultation and well the reviews I read were so correct! Dr. Spears was wonderful, very thorough. Makes you feel so comfortable which is so important. I didn't feel rushed in anyway which is a common thing I have experienced in the past.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
