Dr. Crosby is, in a word, AMAZING! When my family and I met Dr. Crosby for the first time it was at the beginning of the journey of round two with breast cancer that meant mastectomy and either reconstruction or not. In addition to being a brilliant and gifted surgeon, Dr. Crosby is a warm and caring person.
Doctor Crosby did reconstructive surgery on me while she was at MD Anderson. I had a sarcoma tumor located in my upper back that had invaded the surrounding muscles. She fixed the large hole that was formed when the sarcoma surgeon removed the tumor and muscle.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Crosby! She has always made me feel like a friend and not a dollar sign. She never forced me into making a decision I wasn't comfortable with. She's joked with me, hugged me, calmed me, and made me whole again after breast cancer forced me to have a mastectomy.
I cannot say enough great things about Dr Crosby and her staff. I am so thankful I found her through a friend. If you want a doctor who listens, not just talks to you, some who cares about you, and is compassionate, Dr Crosby is the one! After my surgery, SHE called to check on me.
