From the reviews
Dr. Kalyam is the best. I first met her three years ago when my eye doctor sent me to her for a biopsy of a bump on my right lower eyelid. My doctor told me for eyes she was the best Ophthalmology Plastic Surgeon. The bump was squamous cell cancer.
5 Stars for Dr. Kalyam and her staff. Her professional, friendly manner were refreshing from diagnosis through recovery. Her surgical skills are nothing short of amazing! I received clear and concise instructions pre and post-op and followed her instructions to a T.
My experience with Dr Kalyam was awesome. Before my treatment she explained every detail of my issue, what to expect and how to continue the maintenance very thoroughly. I am always nervous when it comes to procedures involving my eye, however she confidently eased my fears.
Great surgeon. She did both of my upper eyelids in the office. A little pain when injecting the pain killer, but once that done I don’t feel any pain during surgery. In fact, not a single bit of pain during the entire healing process!
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
