Dr. Lauren Fisher, where do I start? She is just an angel. She did my reconstruction surgery and I just cannot say how blessed I am that she was the one who took care and is taking care of me.
I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer at 24 y/o. I was told that I would have to have a double mastectomy after my treatment. I met with Dr. Fischer about 3 months prior to surgery and I fell in love. She took the time to explain to me all the details of the surgery and what I could expect in the future.
I have not had surgery with Dr. Fischer but did see her for a revision of my breast cancer reconstructive surgery. She is so amazing. She flat out told me ‘I’ll do it, but NOT until you get a consult for DIEP flap. That is the only way you’ll get the results you want or deserve’.
I am currently under Dr. Fischers care after undergoing a double mastectomy. Her educational achievements are impressive. What I find equally impressive is Dr. Fischer herself, she is patient, kind and caring.
