From the reviews
Dr. Kevin Maguire did my breast reduction and lift. I’m very please with his work he is very patient when it comes to you asking questions. He made me feel very comfortable on every visit and his work is just amazing thank you Dr. Kevin Maguire. Nikki Laster
Very knowledgeable, very patient and answered all of the questions we had and then some. I went into this breast reduction consultation absolutely panicked and nervous. And halfway through felt relieved and calmer.
I went to see Dr. Maguire (hand surgeon) because I had a painful affliction called trigger thumb in *both thumbs. The first attempt at treatment was a prescription for methylprednisolone tablets (a steroid that relieves swelling). That treatment had no effect, so then Dr.
When I walked into the office, I immediately felt comfortable, I was amongst normal people “just like me.” The Dr. was cordial, informative, professional; he actually spent time with us, he didn’t rush, and he was willing to not only take time to answer questions, but also suggest/proffer the opportunity.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
