From the reviews
I started going to ASA in 2015. The front office staff is super accommodating and always very friendly as well as patient because I tend to ask a lot of questions. Dr Chung, was very thorough in both of my consultations. He takes pride in his work, and aims for nothing but perfection. He constantly asks for feedback.
I am fortunate to know the Chung family, who are all wonderful and talented people. I reached out to Dr. Johnny Chung because I was finally at a point in my life when I was ready to pursue a breast reduction procedure; a lifelong wish of mine that was becoming more urgent due to physical discomfort.
I like the way he goes into detail and answers any questions that you may have about anything about the procedure you are about to have. I just had a breast augmention and tummy tuck and prior to the surgery we chatted a bit. Dr Chung is a personable guy and takes his time with his patients.
Had a melanoma on my face. Scary because had to be removed by doctor Chung and required a large cut/gash on my cheek. This requires a patient to put complete faith in the doctor since there's nothing else the patient can do and you don't want the cancer to spread.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
