About this practice
From the reviews
Dr. John Feng is an exceptional surgeon and physician. From the first consultation, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, taking the time to answer all my questions and explain every step of the process.
Dr. Feng is a skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner. He's got a great sense of humor and he puts you at ease as you consider "going under the knife". He's part of the great Palo Alto Medical Foundation/Sutter Health healthcare system.
Dr. Feng was my surgeon for my recent hernia surgery. I met him twice prior to surgery and then the day of surgery as well as my post op visit. He is fantastic. Such an incredibly kind doctor who takes all the needed time to carefully explain his findings, his recommendations, as well as the surgery outcome.
Dr. Feng is always on time and professional. He is very informative about my healthcare and I trust his guidance. A great doctor.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
