After a year post-op I think Dr. Burrows deserves a review from me. I had major wrist reconstruction on my left wrist. I searched many Dr.'s through my coverage and google reviews and landed on Dr. Burrows. I think he is a typical surgeon. Although friendly, his job is to diagnose you and fix the problem.
Dr. Burrows is a very gifted/ talented surgeon. I first went to him over 20 years ago for carpal tunnel and eventually ulnar nerve transposition on both elbows. More recently I broke several bones in my wrist, I was so relieved to find he was still in practice and covered by my insurance.
Dr. Burrows is a great doctor. He makes sure you understand your injury and the steps to take for healing. He was the second doctor I saw for my wrist injury and he was very thorough when examining it. (The last doctor didn't even examine me, he just gave me a cortisone shot and sent me on my way.).
Dr. Burrows is definitely the only guy I'd recommend for Ortho. He is very friendly, very professional and VERY knowledgeable. He takes the time to answer each and every question you have no matter how long that takes.
