About this practice
From the reviews
Emylee Wood is hands down the BEST nurse injector I have ever been to (and trust me, I have been to MANY). She works under Dr. Volpe, who I trust with with my life; he has also performed many of my cosmetic procedures. Both of them are a power team and I am so lucky to have them!!
Emylee is amazing! I was super nervous to get any sort of treatment done and she completely eased my fears and made me feel comfortable. I was very worried that Botox would make me look fake or that I wouldn’t be able to move my face in the way I wanted.
I have seen Emylee twice now for lip fillers and both experiences have been amazing! From the minute you walk in she makes you feel comfortable, and explains exactly what she’s doing as she’s doing it. Her attention to detail is unmatched, and she makes sure that you leave the office happy with your results.
Such an amazing experience! Emylee is so kind and answers all questions and will talk through the entire process before and during it! I am also someone who gets super nervous and dizzy, so she has always given me time and breaks during the procedure. Also a juice box too because I get light headed!
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
