From the reviews
UPDATE: 09/27/24 I went in to have my right expander placed as my skin was too thin before. Dr.O'Toole did a couple sessions of fat graphing to aid in making sure my right breast would take the expander. I was nervous but exited for this next step. Dr.
The front desk lady greeted me with a smile. That's always a great start. I filled out the paperwork, so I arrived early. Dr. O'Toole apologized for my wait. I told her that was kind of her, but there was no need; I arrived early. She is a very pleasant Dr. She listens well. She has a good bedside manor.
After a difficult preventative mastectomy in 2021 that left me with significant rippling and divots in my chest wall, I felt ashamed of my body and lost confidence in myself. The implants were positioned incorrectly and looked like they were glued onto my body.
Dr. O’Toole is one of a kind. During one of the most challenging times in my life, Dr. O’Toole not only provided me with the best medical care and expertise but surrounded me with compassion, care, and understanding. These qualities are hard to find in physicians, given their many patients.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
