From the reviews
The most amazing surgeon and staff! I'm a breast cancer patient and had a double mastectomy; expanders placed and later swapped to implants in my home state. I was not informed of any other reconstruction options outside of going flat or implants.
- Call a new patient at 9 pm on a Wednesday night to hear what is going on with them because a friend of a friend asked her to? Done - Set up an appt for the very next day and had all my records for review - Done - Told me I was a candidate for a double mastectomy and immediate reconstruction at the same time when all…
I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2014 and had several surgeries, chemo and reconstruction (including a double mastectomy ) . When my implants failed I was coming to accept that I would never look “normal” again (whatever that means!). I was referred to Dr Wright in 2025 and she is an absolute miracle worker.
Dr. Wright did my DIEP flap reconstruction and her work is incredible! I went in for a consult after a recommendation from my breast surgeon for double mastectomy with immediate DIEP. I could tell right away that Dr. Wright was an expert in her field and knew she would do the best job for me.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
