About this practice
From the reviews
I am A plastic surgeon and I had the opportunity to observe Dr. Black operate on my aunt who had An emergency. He was so reassuring and he was so smooth in the operating room but he deserves many compliments from a colleague like myself.
A great surgeon. He fixed a vertical hernia, used the same incision I already had from bariatric surgery. He did an apron removal, liposuction on lower flanks, waist and upper buttocks. I will be 53 soon. With all the weight loss and age I’m ready for the girls to be lifted they are going south. I highly recommend Dr.
Dr. Black was the best doctor I could have asked for! He checked up on me in person twice on the day of surgery, and at least once a day for couple days following. I've never had a doctor care as much as Dr. Black did. 100% recommend to anyone
I personally had an amazing experience with Dr. Black. He is caring, smart, and made recommendations based on what he thought would look best in conjunction with what I wanted. The result was fabulous and looked completely natural.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
