Dr Self is on the approved BII plastic surgeon list and is widely recognized in facebook communities as being the absolute best breast explant surgeon in Utah, period! I went to Dr. Self for a breast explant and total/complete capsulectomy and lift (mastopexy). I am BEYOND satisfied with my care from pre-op to post-op.
Ok Dr. Self is the best of the best! Not only does he have incredible bedside manner but he really listens. If you ask around the industry, most surgeons have their nicknames (some not so glamorous) and if you ask, most will tell you he is known as “The Perfectionist”.
I had my explant with Dr Self in November, 2023. He was so great! I loved him and his nurse, Lynne. I can’t recommend him enough. Very genuine, caring, meticulous with his work. I am 8 months out and couldn’t be happier with the results.
