About this practice
What patients say again and again
“Furnas and her entire staff were kind, informative, and very professional.”
“Best decision I’ve made for myself in awhile.”
From the reviews
She changed my life! I just recently had my breast implants replaced. She did the original surgery 19 years ago. I was told you should replace in 10 yrs but mine looked great. I only replaced them because you could feel the bags. She had given me the MOST BEAUTIFUL breasts. I wish I were not so modest.
I have had a great experience with Dr Heather Furnas. From my consultation almost a year ago until I was able to do my surgery a few days ago. Dr Furnas is professional along with being very knowledgeable and nice. She helped me decide what I needed and did a great job doing just that!
I have known Dr. Furnas for many years and just had my second surgery with her. The first was an upper eyelid surgery when I was 51 and now, at age 68, I had a facelift, CO2 laser and fat injections. I was out and about one week post surgery and back at the gym after 2 weeks.
Dr. Furnas and her entire staff were kind, informative, and very professional. I had several procedures done at one time: upper blepharoplasty, lower facelift, and laser resurfacing on my face and chest. It has been a little over three weeks since my surgery and I look great! Not overly done which was my fear. Dr.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
