From the reviews
If I could give 100 stars, I would. Dr Chang’s work changed my life. I’ve been struggling with my ex-large breasts, posture challenges, headaches, back pain, weight struggles for most of my adult life, breathing issues, too. I am non-binary, and could never identify with my size.
I cannot even begin to express my sincerest gratitude for the amazing treatment I received from Dr. Chang and his team. I received care at the height of the pandemic and the utmost care was provided to ensure that I felt safe and that I received top notch care. Dr. Chang made sure that I was attended to at all times.
As a former patient of Dr Chang and as a RN who has later crossed paths with him and his patients in the hospital (disclaimer: years later and purely by coincidence), I can speak from both my personal experience and observation of how he cares for patients.
Dr. Chang performed my DIEP breast reconstruction and did a fabulous job, in 2010. I am pleased with the results and with clothes on, the left breast looks very natural. The scars are the only thing that give it away, nothing a carefully placed tattoo can't hide! Thank you to Dr. Chang and Dr. Kind.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
