My husband suffered a very bad laceration to his two fingers. Dr. Fuentes was so caring from the emergency room to all of his follow up visits. Dr. Fuentes came out on a Sunday morning and met us at Huntington Hospital, which by the way the hospital was also great and made my husband and I feel calm and comfortable.
The doctors at the ER all told us they could close my child’s injury then and there if we gave them permission. The problem they cautioned us was if they did his face and eye would droop and there would be nerve damage if wasn’t done by special skilled pediatric Neuro/plastic surgeon and none were there or available.
Dr. Fuentes awaited our arrival at Huntington Hospital for emergency stitches our 4 year old needed on her face. He was patient with our screaming child and explained what he would be doing to us. He worked calmly and swiftly under the pressure of our screaming, scared child.
My 3 year old son fell and required a number of stitches on his chin. Dr. Fuentes was recommended to me by a friend, and I cannot recommend him enough. On a beautiful Saturday afternoon when most people would be out enjoying the day, Dr. Fuentes immediately met us at the hospital to stitch my son.
