I am still waiting for my final reconstruction, but I will tell a bit of my story. I am 8 years post radiation & decided to get a double mastectomy due to cancer recurrence scare. I was doing amazing until about a month ago. I developed a little open wound on my radiated breast. Dr.
****DR. BRIAN PARRETT IS A MAGICIAN AND THE WIZARD OF BOOBS**** After being diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2024, I knew right away that I didn't want a lumpectomy with radiation and chose a bilateral mastectomy. Does this sound familiar to you? I was assigned a consult with Dr.
Brought my daughter to Dr. Parrett to have her ears pierced and I could not have had a better experience. Although she fussed and cried which was to be expected from a tired one year old, Dr. Parrett and his staff were so caring, kind, and professional throughout the entire process.
I’ve had 4 surgeries with Dr. Parrett . He is truly an amazing surgeon. He’s compassionate and caring and listens to all your needs . He is so kind and understanding. I would definitely recommend Dr. Parrett for any kind of surgery. Truly blessed to have an amazing doctor. 10/10
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
