From the reviews
I've had Excellent care provided to me by Dr. Crawford & his team. Dr. Crawford is an outstanding GI specialist who has taken Excellent care of me he is understanding, and he listens to his patients! He is more than a 5 star rating.
I absolutely adore Dr Crawford He has the best bedside manner, he explains things in terms you can understand, he wil take as much time with you as you need! (You may have to wait to see him, but it’s so worth it!) I wish he could be my primary care! I highly recommend him (even though I’d like to keep it a secret!
Dr. Crawford was wonderful!! He was very informative regarding the type of surgery my husband needs to repair an umbilical hernia. He went over every aspect of the surgery and recovery, but there was absolutely no pressure to have us decide one way or the other whether to do it now or wait; we chose to go ahead and…
Dr. Dvid Crawford did my surgery on an extreme hiatal hernia. Also my stomach was 2/3 above my diaphragm, upside down, twisted and stuck to the wall. It was more complicated than anticipated but he did FABULOUS mending me back together. His staff was very nice and caring.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
