From the reviews
I had saline breast I implants for 17 years. While I’m not sure if I had breast implant Illness, I was ready to have them out - to potentially improve my health, but also, to never have to worry about having surgery again.
I couldn’t recommend Dr. Brothers more. I went to another surgeon 4 years ago and unfortunately, needed to have some revisions done. Hence, I was extremely picky about who I consulted with and who would end up doing my surgery.
I am one week post-explant surgery with Dr. Brothers. I had breast implants for 25 years, and one had finally deflated. At 55, and with very little breast tissue, I was truly torn about whether to replace them or not. Dr.
Dr. Brothers has done multiple procedures on friends and family. I have a reasonable amount of insight into the process as I’m a surgical subspecialist as well. So, I will let you know why he should be one of the go to people nationally. He is an outstanding technician.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
