About this practice
“Dr Mazzaferro and I had a virtual consultation in which he provided important information upfront and answered all of my questions, so I went into procedure fully prepared.”
What patients say again and again
“He took the time to explain the procedure in detail, addressed all my questions and concerns, and made sure I felt completely comfortable and informed before moving forward.”
“You can immediately tell you’re in the hands of someone who is not only highly skilled, but deeply committed to his patients as well.”
“He contacted me and followed my progress immediately following my surgery that evening, through the following weekend and every day until my next follow up visit to his office.”
“The personalized care he showed in that initial appointment, to seeing his past work immediately not only put me at ease but gave me confidence in the procedure I was to undergo.”
From the reviews
My story started in 1999 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer while I was pregnant with my third child. In February of 1999, I had a mastectomy, was treated with chemotherapy, gave birth to a healthy baby and was prescribed Tamoxifen for 5 years.
So grateful my breast surgeon recommended Dr. Mazzaferro to me. My first visit I was very nervous and not knowing what to expect. Broke down in tears right away after telling him I had HER2+ breast cancer and he was not in my network.
I don't know where to begin. Daniel Mazzaferro, is one of those rare people who are not only passionate about their work, but destined to do it. As a former crunchy, "what herb can solve this" woman, going under the knife was never something I planned to do.
I don’t even know where to start with how grateful I am for Dr. Mazzaferro. I truly cannot say enough amazing things about him. From the very beginning, he has gone above and beyond in every aspect of my care, in ways I didn’t expect. His level of expertise is exceptional.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
