From the reviews
Wonderful experience. All personnel were very professional and kind. Dr Balderama explained everything very well. I was there to have a melanoma removed from my right forearm. He was very thorough and his assistant was also very kind and helpful. They both put me at ease and overall the experience was very comfortable.
My mom had a skin cancer removed that needed plastic surgery. Dr Balderramma was able to do surgery on her the next day. He explained the situation well. He did a great job. Bedside manner was fine. Her stitches are out already and she is healing well!
Not sure if I saw a different doctor than the other reviewers; however, I saw Dr. Balderrama on8/20/2025 and I couldn’t ask for a nicer doctor. He told me everything about what I was there for. I would highly recommend him.
Today was my first experience with Dr.Balderrama. I was very pleased of his approach explaining what would be done with the procedure .
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
