What patients say again and again
“Dr Wood took her time to listen to the patients needs and took her time to explain treatment options.”
From the reviews
My husband and I have been going to Cosmetic Surgery & Dermatology for several years now. Dr. Michalak is an excellent Doctor. His assistants are so helpful and friendly, Rebecca and Dixie. Then there is Elizabeth, she is very caring and helpful and makes you feel so comfortable.
Dr. Michalak is a master surgeon. I had Mohs surgery that left a hole in my nose so big you could put a pencil through it. Really freaked me out but he took some skin from an area near my ear to fill the hole.
I am so impressed with the courtesy and professionalism that Dr. Michalak and his team extended to me! I have issues with claustrophobia and they made every effort to make me feel comfortable prepping me in the surgery room. It was a relief to me that the room has windows!
I have been going here for 18 years for my skin care. As an Illinois transplant to the Pacific Northwest. Skin health was not a priority growing up in the 60's. Dr. Victor R. Michalak and his team provide complete skin care, exams, treatments, and surgery.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
