From the reviews
Dr. Claytor restored not just my stomach - but my confidence! I met with Dr. Claytor to see what could be done to improve a poor result from a tummy tuck I had 20 years ago by a different surgeon. He was confident that he could smooth out and lower my incision and get rid of my "muffin top".
I recently had a hernia repair and abdominoplasty with Dr. Claytor to correct severe diastasis recti (something I struggled with even before pregnancy), and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the very beginning, Dr. Claytor was caring, genuine, and incredibly informative.
I recently had brachioplasty performed by Dr. Claytor after having lost a significant amount of weight. The skin that was hanging off my arms really put a damper on my self-esteem, and I was ready to undergo the next step in my transformation journey.
I selected Dr. Claytor as my surgeon for a lower body lift and I can’t recommend him enough. He has an extensive protocol for blood clot prevention which was a worry of mine. I felt safe and comfortable around him, which is critical when interacting with a plastic surgeon.
Researching a tummy tuck?
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) is major surgery with real risks and a recovery that usually runs several weeks — this page is a starting point for finding a surgeon, not medical advice. The most useful next step is a consultation, where a surgeon reviews your health history, examines you, talks through your options, and gives a personal quote. Bring questions and don't rush the decision.
Questions worth asking: Are you board-certified in plastic surgery (and can I verify it)? Where would you operate, and is the facility accredited? Can I see before-and-after photos of your own patients? What are the risks and the realistic recovery timeline for me? What's your revision policy if something needs adjusting? Whatever a listing says, always verify certification directly with the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) at abplasticsurgery.org, and discuss your candidacy, risks, and recovery with the surgeon.
